Introducing Zune Software Version 4, the latest client for the Zune Player from software giant Microsoft. If you love iTunes, you would mostly likely love Zune Software. It's buttery smooth sans plugins from it's bigger brother Windows Media Player. Here ends the talk and let's see a video!
Hey, are you already so excited about Windows 7?
We hope you didn't get too excited that you forgot to weigh the advantages of getting a free copy over the disadvantages of buying one.
Oh yes! We are serious about this. If you're an SP student, that means you, here's the form for you.
There is actually a way to change that 'start' button.Instead of seeing the traditional 'start' this time round, I'm going to change it to 'Zephy' (I mean seriously, seeing that is worst than your tradition boot screen .-.)
First of all, you need the Resource Hacker which you can get it here
http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/
Now, fire up Resource Hacker and you're set to go.
First of all, make sure you DO THESE STEPS CAREFULLY, or your XP will screw up real bad, since explorer.exe won't boot.
Anyway, after launching Resource Hacker.
File > Open
And open up this file
C:\Windows\explorer.exe
And you'll see a directory on the left pane.
Next, navigate to
String Table\37\1033
This is the ONLY directory that you wanna modify.
Now, on the right pane, edit the word
'start'
And whatever you replace will be the word of your 'start' button.
But I'm not really certain if there is actually a limit of characters you can input.
For this time round, I am going to replace 'start' with my name 'Zephy' =P
Once you are done replacing, click on 'Compile Script' just above the right pane.
And once done,
File > Save As
And save it as anything you like so as long IT IS NOT EXPLORER.EXE, and it ends with an .exe , otherwise it won't start.
In this case, I'll save it as HackedStart.exe
Once that business is done, you need to tell XP that you want this 'hacked' version of explorer.exe to boot.
So, it is back to the registry editor,
Run > regedit
And navigate to,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Winlogon
And on the right-pane double-click
Shell
And the Edit String Window will appear.
Edit the value Data field to the .exe that you saved earlier, for me, I'll edit it to
HackedStart.exe
OK and exit, and now reboot!
Yes, once Windows successfully reboot, your 'start' button is modified!
Or you can do smileys instead~!

Why bother when you can create your own custom linux with your own custom tools. Build it from scratch, choose the software you need and built it.
Some idea of stuff you can build.
- A custom linux with security tools.
- Custom linux with all the normal application you need and so on..
