SPIC Annual General Meeting

 

Dear SPIC Members!

We would like to extend a BIG WELCOME to all years ones who have recently joined SPIC.

So you have joined the club, what next?

There will be an Annual General Meeting(AGM) for SPIC that was be held at LT4 on Wednesday, 16 May 2012.

During the AGM, we will be sharing what SPIC is about, the key members of the club as well as present the workplan for the club.
Everyone, especially the year ones are encouraged to come to the AGM to find out more about the club, where you can find out who are the people you can approach should you have any problems in the club. You will also get to learn what SPIC has in store for you for the upcoming months. If you have any doubts, this is the best time to clear your doubts.

Freshmen Orientation Camp 2012 – INFOLYMPICS

Hey, all full time diploma students are welcome to join the SPIC annual Freshmen Orientation Camps to familiarise themselves with the
campus environment and adapt quickly to Poly life. You will have the chance of making new friends from various discipline and also interact with your seniors through various social activities.

Hello SPIC members!!

SPIC CIP Team has organised a trip down to Macpherson Moral Family Service Center (MFSC). We will be needing about 8 helpers at MFSC in Machpherson to help out in the activities!

Our CIP project focus on helping young kids on their Art and Crafts lessons.

Date : 17th March 2012

Time: 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm
Venue : Macpherson MFSC
Dress Code : Any
Lesson of the day: Ocean Diorama

Community Service Points will be given
The more you come, the more CCA points you get!!

CCA.SG Design Competition – A memorable designing journey

 

Hello, fellow!
• If you are waiting a chance to showcase your awesome design to the whole school.
• If your incredible design post on your CCA clubs’ home page.
• If here is the chance to make it happen… Let’s grab it and burn the design spirit!!!

SP Infocomm Club and SP Interactive Media will be holding our first ever design competition for CCA.SG!
In this competition, there are TWO categories: LOGOs and BANNERs.

Logo competition for CCA.sg.

Banner competition for each CCA’s webpage.

SPIC will be dealing with Logos while SPIM with Banners!

LOGO Submission criteria as below:
1. A valid entry must consist of at least 2 files: the .PSD/.AI file and the final image (.JPEG/.PNG). Any embedded images must be included as well.
2. The logo should be A4 size.
3. The name and contact number of the participants must be included.
4. Submit to spic@cca.sg  

Rules & Regulations:
1. Participants cannot be organisers of this event.
2. Participants can join in teams or individually.
3. Multiple submissions are allowed.
4. Failure to comply with the submission criteria will result in an invalid entry.

[1st session] Volunteers Recruitment for Community Service@Macpherson

 

Hello SPIC members!!

SPIC CIP Team has organised a trip down to Macpherson Moral Family Service Center (MFSC).We will be needing about 10 helpers at MFSC in Machpherson to help out in the activities!
 
Our CIP project focus mainly on helping young kids on their Art and Crafts lesson. Every month we will be coming down twice to MFSC to teach young kids (12 years and below) art lessons for 2 hours per session. This is a great opportunity for anyone who love and have passion for kids. Nonetheless, anyone is welcome to join this event!!

Date : 14th January 2012 (Saturday)
Time: 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm
Venue : Macpherson MFSC
Dress Code : SP shirt and covered shoes
Lesson of the day: Making of chinese lantern and dancing lion for Chinese New Year

Community Service Points will be given to helpers of the event!!
CCA points up to 10 community service points will be given for those who attend for all of the sessions from January to December! (hint hint)

In today’s wordpress blogging system, there is 2 ways we can categorize our blog post. The one we usually used to categorize our posts will be the category option which is widely used. The second type will be using the ‘tags’ function. Categorizing our posts allows visitors to navigate and search for any information they wanted easily.
