WARNING: THIS METHOD CAN BE DANGEROUS. DON’T DO ANYTHING IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU TRANSFORM YOUR PHONE INTO A BRICK

This root-ing guide will only work for samsung GalaxySpica I5700!! I will continue to look for ways to root other phones!

What is Rooting?
Rooting of android phones gives the owner SUPER USER Access aka. SU. It allows the user to install custom roms, themes and apps that requires SUPER USER priviledge, for instance, apps that helps overclock your phone.

To root your phone, make sure your Samsung GalaxySpica I5700 has the 2.1-update1 original firmware by samsung and drivers for your phone installed on to your computer! (recommend using x86 bit comp, when installing drivers, it is best if you enable USB debugging in the phone!!).

List of things you need(will include the links later):
Odin multi-downloader
samsung official 2.1 update 1 firmware (if you dont have androi 2.1 update 1 on your phone)
driver for your phone( if you did not install it on your computer)
i5700_LK2-02_PDA.tar
LK2-02-1_update.zip

First step:
mount your phone SD card to your comp., then copy LK2-02-1_update.zip to your SD card!
Put your phone in download mode by pressing (volume down+ end call button+ camera button) together and hold it till it show this

Now connect your phone to your comp. using the usb cable, open up odin Multi-downloader
it should show something like this:

Set the settings to this:

step 4: navigate your way to apply any zip from SD card! and select LK2-02-1_update.zip!

Google, the company that made searching on the web synonymous with it's brand, the company behind gmail and android.
They seem to be expanding into an increasing number of markets daily. With the last couple of weeks busy, with many announcements made. Today, another was made, regarding its new & free URL shortening service, goo.gl, for use within its other products.

URL shorteners are great for services like Twitter, where characters are counted in posts, or for when a fully-sized link would look rather out of place. There tons of alternatives to choose from, but at the moment, there are only a few very popular ones (such as bit.ly). Google's new offering is only available through its own products, according to the blog post on the subject, but it comes with a few benefits, listed below.

Stability: Google's scalable, multi-datacenter infrastructure provides great uptime and a reliable service to our users.

Security: As we do with web search, shortened URLs are automatically checked to detect sites that may be malicious and warn users when the short URL resolves to such sites.

Speed: At Google we like fast products and we've worked hard to ensure this service is quick. We'll continue to iterate and improve the speed of Google Url Shortener.

The proper link for the site, goo.gl, has nothing much to offer (as the service is limited to a couple products), but you can test out the Google URL Shortener (the official name) by using the Google Toolbar or FeedBurner.

In the posting, Scoble notes "why did Google announce Chrome OS this week? Well, of course, Microsoft has a big announcement coming on Monday (I'm embargoed)".
